Important Dates
All candidates for Golden Delight must meet ALL of the following requirements for the 2005 season:
Have 2+ years of twirling experience OR attend at least 3 Golden Delight sponsored clinics (see below)
Have 3+ years of dance training/experience in the areas of jazz, modern or high school dance team. Other
areas of dance will not be counted as we do not use them
in our choreography.
Be in great physical shape, with emphasis on the
abdominal area and thighs (due to uniforms)
Must attend NC A&T State University or be enrolled in
the Consortium program
In order to be invited to our 2005 auditions, candidates must:
Complete an application packet (available online and by
mail AFTER March 2005.)
Submit a head shot photo with your application
Attend at least one Golden Delight Clinic. Clinic dates and
locations will be posted February 2005. Ladies must
register at least one week prior to any certain clinic date.
Candidates may attend as many clinics as they wish.
Clinics are free of charge, howevers meals and
transportation are NOT provided.
Clinics reinforece basic skills and focus on Golden Delight style of twirling and dance choreography & more!

Clinics will be held Friday evenings and Saturdays during the months of March to June. Locations in North Carolina will include Fayetteville, Charlotte, Durham, Goldsboro, and several in Greensboro.
Clinics will also be scheduled in Virginia, Maryland, Georgia and South Carolina. A concrete schedule of dates, times and locations is currently being compiled.
The 2005 Golden Delight Auditions are invitation only. Candidates must meet ALL requirements and information will be verified. In addition, candidates will not be invited unless they have attended at least one Golden Delight sponsored clinic. More details will be posted at the conclusion of this marching season.
LADIES WITHOUT EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE INVITED. Your audition invitation will be provided at the end of the clinic you attend. Current members must reapply each year.
