Ms. Tiffany is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. She is a 2002 graduate of NC A&T SU with a Bachelors in History and a 2009 graduate of NC State University with a Masters of Public Administration/Human Resources. Her experience includes over 23 years of dance experience and 18 years of twirling flag. Tiffany works closely with the Director of Bands to generate the overall vision, marketing and strategic direction of the ensemble. She is very hands-on with the day to day operations including uniform design, creating shows, etc. She also works to provide development opportunities for the staff and squad members each year.
2014 Golden Delight Staff & Ensemble Support
Tiffany is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc., and several human resources and training professional organizations. She serves as an adjudicator across the eastern part of the country and works with both high school and collegiate band auxiliary advisors and students.
She works for the City of Greensboro in Human Resources as the Manager of Learning and Development as well as working on graphic design/website projects. Season 2014 will be her 15th season on staff.
Akua Matherson, Ensemble Support
Akua serves as the Faculty Liaison to the Golden Delight Ensemble. She provides support to squad members relating to University matters. Mrs. Matherson also works very closely with Golden Delight Staff on game day logistics and mentoring the ladies. She has extensive experience in the dance arts and lends her expertise in helping new ladies transition to the collegiate performance experience.
Tanika Harris, Assistant Coach

Mrs. Tanika is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. She is a 1999 graduate of NC A&T State University in Early Childhood Education. Her experience includes over 27 years of dance experience and 21 years of baton twirling. She oversees all aspects of the majorette (baton twirlers) and assists with the vision for performances. Mrs. Tanika places her talents and abilities in helping squad members to perfect their craft and focus on all elements of the performance.
She has experience working with auxiliary units on both the high school and collegiate level. She is currently the owner of a studio teaching baton twirling to youth. With a multitude of community connections and affiiations, she is able to use her leverage to provide meaningful opportunities for squad members. Mrs. Tanika is a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
She is the owner and operator of her own chain of daycares Educational Playtime Too here in Greensboro, NC. Season 2014 will be her 10th season on staff.
